Spicewood Spring Julep


  • 2.5oz Iron Wolf Select Bourbon
  • 6-8 fresh mint leaves, plus additional for garnish
  • 2-3 ripe strawberries, plus additional for garnish
  • 0.5-1tsp coarse Demerara sugar (or to taste)


  1. In a cocktail stirring glass, muddle the fresh mint, strawberries, and sugar.
  2. Add ice and Iron Wolf Select Bourbon, then stir.
  3. Fill a serving glass with crushed ice.
  4. Strain the cocktail into the serving glass to remove the strawberry pulp.
  5. Garnish with additional fresh mint leaves and strawberry slices, and enjoy!
