DESCRIPTION:The 9th Annual Spicewood BBQ & Chili Cook Off will benefit CASI Scholarship Funds – A National Scholarship Program that is available for students perusing post-high school education both in the areas of academic or trade/technical school. Come judge\, play games\, win prizes\, eat some great food and have a blast\, all for a wonderful cause! Iron Wolf will be open regular hours (Friday 4-7\, Saturday 12-8\, Sunday 12-6) for the general public. Born in Odessa\, TX and growing up in Austin\, Dallas and Nashville\, Dean has done everything from backpacking across Europe\, snowboard instructing in Colorado and working on the set of a Jet Li movie as a stunt man. But his favorite pastime-turned-career has been playing music. Dean describes his music as “high-energy redneck rock n’ roll.” He started playing as a camp counselor on Possum Kingdom Lake in the mid 90’s\, and shortly after moved back home to Austin to pursue a full-time music career.
